Geotourism - tourism that sustains or enhances the geographical character of a place

This project started as a response to the tremendous influx of development pressure and tourism in our area. We felt a sense of urgency among those who seek a balance between growth and maintaining the unique culture, aesthetics, heritage and lifestyle within our tourism-based economy.

We found that market research supported by conversations with travel industry colleagues around the globe support our belief that geotourism is the best approach to the future of the tourism industry and any destination or attraction that benefits from tourism.

We’re building an online community connecting thought leaders, early adopters and savvy travelers aimed at fostering greater offline grass-roots, market-driven adoption of geotourism.

Our goal: nothing less than a worldwide rave.
